26 Nov Evening time... Baby Celest start her 1st fever (she never get fever before) 37.8c, start coughing.

27 Nov, We sent her to PD Clinic (heard is a famous PD in JB), PD say it is a normal flu, give us 3 medicine, for cough, fever, and phlegm. But baby Celest refuse to drink the phlegm medicine due to the mint taste. She will vomit out all food which she took. So we stop it.

27-30 Nov, She look worst... phlegm getting more. And she refuses to drink milk, dun sleep. I m carried her the whole night. The end I get infection also.

1 Dec, We decided to send her back to Doc Oh (Clinic Kidlink). But Doc Oh no longer with Kidlink and her clinic will be open on Jan 2009. The end we went back to TMC, Doc Keoy. After checking, PD advises to send her to x-ray & blood test. We tot is a basic process, but… the result is she get phlegm infection and advise hospitalize. U know how is a parent feel? I really in a bad moon, my heart is so painful. After discussion, we decide not to stay. PD give her a machine treatment to clean the phlegm (and we need to rent the machine home and operate it 3 times per day). Nightmare coming… she hate the treatment, cry all the way. The checking cost us S$350+

2 -5 Dec, both of us work hard… feeding, patting… It may a lot people say we are kiasu. We wont expect other people helping us, but stop nag beside! Change a position! We suffer during this 2 weeks, I m totally no rest and damn sick to bother.

5 Dec go TMC. Thank God… Lung no infection. Baby Celest more active now. She just need to continuous the medicine, it take a week to recover.
And she can sleep through the night… this is more important!!! (Mean I can sleep the whole night also)

Remember 病从浅中医。And teething wont cause cough, wheezing and phlegm. This is a good experience for us, when baby’s sick must go for professional PD. If the medicine not works, go checking again. Listen traditional folk… it harms your baby life. ‘Some baby also fever, flu becos of teething….’ ‘Flu just a normal sickness’ ‘His baby dinot eat medicine also can recover’ … I not blame anyone, just thank for all the advise, It almost cause my baby lung infection!!! I known i m not a perfect Mummy, but i think all parent will be same as me, kanChong about baby, heart pain when baby's sick.

As PD say, Teething may cause fever and uncomfortable. But not for all the baby.

Thank God… Baby still got abit phlegm, hope she can recover soon.
